Description
The Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Plant Operations – Forward Tipping Dumper is for operators using either wheeled or tracked dumpers who already hold a red trained operator card under CPCS or NPORS. Completing this qualification allows you to upgrade to a blue competent operator card, formally recognising your ability to operate these machines safely and effectively on-site.
This NVQ assesses your day-to-day performance in operating forward tipping dumpers to move and tip loads, conduct pre-use checks, maintain safe operation around other workers and vehicles, and follow site procedures and safety standards.
Assessment is based entirely on real work activity and includes on-site observation, professional discussion, and submission of relevant supporting evidence such as maintenance logs, photographic or video documentation, and risk assessments. There are no exams or classroom sessions involved.
