Description
The Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety is ideal for individuals already working in a role with responsibility for health and safety, such as supervisors, safety reps, or coordinators. This qualification allows you to gain a nationally recognised diploma entirely through work-based assessment — no exams, no classroom sessions, and no time away from site.
You’ll build a portfolio of evidence to show how you identify and control risks, conduct inspections, deliver briefings, and help maintain a safe working environment. Assessment is flexible and can be completed remotely through professional discussions, submitted documentation, and witness testimony.
This NVQ supports progression into more senior safety roles or further study, such as the Level 6 Diploma, and is often accepted by professional bodies such as IOSH at TechIOSH level (subject to their membership criteria).
