The Essential Safety Awareness Course for Everyone
IOSH Working Safely is a nationally recognised one-day training course that provides a solid introduction to health and safety in the workplace. It’s suitable for employees at all levels, in any industry, and is designed to equip them with the knowledge and confidence to work safely and contribute to a safer working environment.
The course focuses on the practical actions every employee can take to reduce risk, identify hazards, and look after their own safety and that of their colleagues. Topics covered include:

This course is ideal for new starters, apprentices, or anyone without formal health and safety training. It is interactive, jargon-free and supported by visual content and real-life examples.
At the end of the course, learners complete a short multiple-choice assessment. Successful candidates receive an IOSH Working Safely certificate, and in some cases, it can also be used to support a CSCS card application (subject to route).
