The Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Supervision is designed for experienced supervisors overseeing site-based construction activities. It is a recognised route to the CSCS Gold Supervisory card and confirms your ability to manage trades, maintain health and safety standards, allocate resources, and communicate effectively across the project team.
You’ll complete the qualification through work-based assessment with no exams or classroom attendance. Evidence is drawn from your daily role and may include method statements, safety briefings, site reports, schedules, and observations by a qualified assessor. The NVQ includes optional pathways tailored to specific areas such as building and civil engineering, residential development, highways maintenance, and more.
This flexible qualification supports progression to more senior roles, including site or project management, and demonstrates your professional competence to employers and clients alike.
