How Assessment Works
At the start of the qualification, learners will be introduced to their dedicated assessor, who will carry out a full induction explaining how the assessment process works. A bespoke assessment plan will then be created based on your job role, experience, and preferred learning style.
You’ll work through the units by completing a variety of evidence-based tasks via our Quals Direct e-portfolio system, which may include:
•Site documentation (e.g. inspection reports, risk assessments)
•Photographic or video evidence
•Witness testimonies
•Recorded professional discussions
•Knowledge-based questions
Assessors will support you throughout, offering guidance and regular feedback. Once all assessment criteria are met and the portfolio is complete, it is internally quality assured, and the qualification is signed off. You’ll then receive your official certificate, which can be used to apply for your CSCS Black Card.
