Which Course Do You Need?
EFAW suits lower-risk workplaces. FAW is for higher-risk workplaces and appointed first aiders. Both are delivered at your workplace by Highfield-accredited instructors.
The EFAW course equips delegates to respond to emergency first aid situations at work, including basic life support and common workplace injuries. Ideal for offices, retail and other lower-risk environments, or where your risk assessment doesn't require a full FAW certificate.
The full First Aid at Work qualification covers the wider range of skills needed in higher-risk workplaces such as construction, manufacturing and warehousing. Meets the HSE requirement for appointed first aiders under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
